About Us

KPH is a student run, non-profit, online radio station at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. Our online radio station (check it out here) features shows brought to you by students every day of the week. Additionally, we plan shows on campus that feature student musicians alongside local/national artists. KPH organizes two yearly festivals; Suntan and Sunburn. These festivals have featured artists such as Badbadnotgood, SABA, Injury Reserve, Duckwrth, and Chastity Belt. 

 

The KPH Blog (formerly known as The Umbrella) has been through a few incarnations since its inception in 2009. Now the newly re-launched KPH Blog can viewed right here on this website. Our blog features student writers and contributors who have the freedom to share their opinions and taste and we aim to reflect a wide variety of musical backgrounds and preferences. Select posts from the KPH Blog archive are also available on the new KPH Blog. You can also check us out on Bandcamp here to view upcoming shows, music from our studio, and buy merch.
